Meet Me

Hi!, I’m Angela

I’m a contemporary mixed media artist with a lifelong love for creativity that is woven into my DNA. Growing up in Nashville, TN, in a family where creativity was the norm—thanks to my father who was a general contractor and my love of everything, eccentric mother who adored decorating—my artistic drive was almost destined.

My childhood was filled with love and family, but also experienced loss, when my creative side, writing and art, saw me through many days, setting the stage for a life dedicated to the arts.

My artful journey first took shape behind the lens of a camera. As a professional photographer of 30+ years, I specialized in capturing life’s most treasured moments—from the tender first days of a newborn’s life, the proud milestones of senior graduations, to the joyful celebrations of weddings. My photography was more than just pictures; my emotional portraiture set my work apart.

As much as I loved photography, I also enjoyed acrylics as another form of expression throughout the years. After retiring from my photography business, transitioning to painting was a natural evolution. Inspired by bright colors, nature, and abstract forms, my paintings burst with energy and emotion, reflecting the beauty I see in the world around me. My creative mind knows no bounds, allowing myself to continually explore and push the boundaries of my art.

I’ve traveled far and experienced the finer things, Nashville has always been home—it’s where I decided to stay and raise my own family with my high school sweetheart. At the heart of everything is my love for family. Family serves as a muse, my cheerleaders, and definitely my greatest joy. Art isn’t just about creating something beautiful; it’s about sharing perspective, shaped by my unique upbringing and deep-rooted love for family.

When you experience my art, my desire is you’re not just seeing a painting; you’re getting a glimpse into a world full of life, gratitude and endless inspiration I call my life— but praying it leaves a lasting impact on all who experience my works of pleasure.

Let’s be friends!
